Coaching for Emmaus
Are you keen to provide guidance and development for young netballers? Coaching is an extremely rewarding job and if you are looking to get involved with netball this is a great option!
Netball Coaches are one of the biggest influences on the games experiences. Coaches don’t just teach the game, they are role models and leaders who shape the whole sport experience. You don’t need any professional qualifications, or even know the rules of netball to get started. Just bring a great attitude.
Coaches run training sessions for our NetSetGo and Junior teams each week focusing on skill development for younger teams or match tactics and game-plays for the older players. Training sessions are conducted at the club training courts in St Clair weekday evenings. Days and times are agreed on by Coach and parents at the Meet and Greet night.
The club asks all Coaches and Assistant Coaches to complete The Foundation Coach Online Course. This course outlines introductory coaching information and basic netball techniques for coaches, parents and NetSetGO coaches. Once completed the club will reimburse the course fee.
All Coaches & Managers who DO NOT play need to register as a Non-Player for free.
